Christopher knows what we want to make is trying to tell us something.

An artist and teacher. He's spent his life helping people listen. Lately, he's been listening to himself.

As a kid, Chris was selected for Creative Learning Resource, a pilot program built on a simple idea: we don't grow into creativity, we grow out of it. He's spent his life asking why, and what it takes to grow back.

After Disney, he founded Imaginology, running more than 300 human-centered design sprints and training over 1,300 leaders across 12 countries. His approach pairs design thinking with the creative mindsets underneath it: curiosity, empathy, play, and the courage to try before you know the answer.

Chris's transformative impact on people extends across 24 countries. He uses it to help individuals find their own ideas and groups build them together. He has worked with Oscar-winning producers, hospital leaders, surgeons, Fortune 500 executives, startup founders, researchers, and frontline teams, and most recently taught Design Leadership to graduate students at the University of Colorado Boulder.

After years of helping other people answer one question, he finally asked himself: what do you really want to make? His answer is painting and illustration, children's books and fiction, and The Quiet Part, a creative practice for adults who have spent years being useful to others and not listening to themselves.

He lives in Colorado with his wife and twin boys, where he hikes the Rockies, fly fishes (patiently), and plays tabletop games (not patiently at all).
